Description
Fluconazole Fungal Infection Capsule 150mg is an oral antifungal treatment used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis) in adults.
Containing fluconazole 150mg, this medicine works from within the body to stop the growth of Candida yeast, the most common cause of thrush. A single capsule provides convenient, effective treatment and helps relieve symptoms such as itching, soreness, redness and abnormal discharge.
This product is suitable for women who have previously been diagnosed with thrush and recognise the symptoms.

How to Use
- Swallow one capsule whole with water.
- Take at any time of day, with or without food.
One capsule is usually sufficient to treat thrush.
- If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they worsen, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Side Effects & Warnings
- Not suitable for children under 16 years or adults over 60 years unless advised by a doctor.
- Do not use if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
- Do not use if you are allergic to fluconazole or other azole antifungals.
- Consult a pharmacist or GP before use if you have liver disease, kidney disease, heart rhythm problems, or are taking other medicines (including warfarin, certain antihistamines, or medicines for heart conditions or epilepsy).
Possible side effects may include headache, nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea or skin rash. Serious side effects are rare but require immediate medical attention.
Important:
Do not use this product if:
- This is your first episode of thrush
- You have had more than two episodes in the last 6 months
- You have unusual discharge, vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal pain, fever or an unpleasant odour
Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, recur frequently, or if you are unsure the symptoms are due to thrush.
