A.Vogel Atrogel Arnica Gel – 100 ml is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of muscular aches, pains and stiffness, sprains, bruises and swelling after minor injuries. It is based on long-standing traditional use of Arnica montana flowers rather than modern pharmacological action. The gel combines a liquid extract of fresh Arnica flowers in a quick-absorbing, non-greasy gel that is easy to apply and suitable for use up to four times a day on affected areas.
This plant-based formulation is popular among people seeking natural support for post-exercise recovery, sports-related strains and everyday muscular discomfort without synthetic analgesics. It is widely stocked by UK pharmacies and herbal retailers.
How to Use
Before first use, check the seal is intact.
• Adults, children and older people: Apply a thin layer (approx. 2 – 10 cm) of the gel gently to the affected area.
• Use 2 – 4 times daily for symptomatic relief of pain and swelling.
• Massage the gel gently into the skin until absorbed.
• Do not use on broken, irritated or inflamed skin or near eyes, nose, mouth or other sensitive areas.

Ingredients
Active herbal ingredient:
• Liquid extract of fresh Arnica montana L. flowers – 500 mg per 1 g of gel, equivalent to ~160 mg fresh Arnica flowers.
Other ingredients:
• Ethanol (solvent), purified water, glycerol (plant origin), ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP copolymer (thickener) – help form smooth, non-greasy, absorbable gel.
This herbal combination provides traditional support to relieve muscular discomfort, stiffness and bruising in joints and soft tissues following minor injuries or exertion.

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose and other mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
• Do not apply to broken, cut, open or severely irritated skin.
• Do not use if allergic to arnica or other members of the daisy (Asteraceae / Compositae) family or any of the other ingredients.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek professional advice before use.
• Consult a clinician or pharmacist if symptoms persist, worsen or do not respond within a few days.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store below 25 °C and use within the recommended period after opening.
Possible Side Effects
• Rarely, topical arnica products can cause mild skin reactions such as itching, rash, dryness or contact dermatitis.
