Description
AEON Protect Plus Eye Drops are advanced artificial tears developed to provide extended moisture and comfort for moderate to severe dry eye and irritation. They use cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.3%, designed to hold more water and provide longer-lasting lubrication on the eye’s surface.
These drops are specifically positioned for use before and after eye surgery, helping to support ocular surface comfort in the weeks around procedures (follow your eye clinic’s instructions).

How to Use
Always use as directed on the label/pack, or as advised by your optometrist/pharmacist/eye specialist.
How to apply (standard eye drop technique):
- Wash and dry hands.
- Remove cap. Avoid touching the dropper tip.
- Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Instil 1 drop into the affected eye(s).
- Blink gently. If needed, press a finger lightly at the inner corner of the eye for about 1 minute.
- Replace the cap straight after use.
How often:
- Use as needed for symptom relief. AEON Protect Plus is intended for moderate to severe dryness and may be used more regularly around eye surgery if advised.
Contact lenses:
- Suitable for use with contact lenses. If your lenses feel uncomfortable, remove lenses, apply drops, then reinsert when comfortable.
After opening:
- Use within 60 days of opening, then discard any remaining liquid.

- In a buffered solution (phosphate-free).
Free from:
- Preservatives and phosphates.
Side Effects & Warnings
Product type: CE-marked medical device; available OTC via pharmacies/optometrists.
Do not use if:
- You are allergic to any ingredient.
- The bottle or dropper looks damaged or contaminated.
Important warnings (pharmacy/SOP tone):
- For ocular use only. Do not swallow.
- Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelids, fingers, or surfaces (infection risk).
- Remove and seek advice if you develop worsening redness, significant eye pain, light sensitivity, discharge, or sudden changes in vision.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, or dry eye is associated with an eye injury/chemical splash, seek urgent clinical advice.
Possible side effects:
Lubricating drops can sometimes cause temporary mild stinging or blurred vision immediately after use. If these effects are severe or do not settle, stop use and seek advice.
Storage:
- Store between 5°C and 35°C.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Discard 60 days after opening.
