Description
Anthisan Bite & Sting Cream – 20g is an antihistamine cream formulated to provide fast, targeted relief from the itching, redness and swelling caused by insect bites and stings, including mosquitoes, midges, flies, ants and wasps. It is also effective for soothing nettle rash and other mild allergic skin reactions.
The cream works by blocking the effects of histamine in the skin, helping to calm irritation and reduce inflammation at the site of the bite or sting. Its non-greasy formulation absorbs easily, making it suitable for use at home, outdoors or while travelling.

How to Use

- Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area.
- Use 2–3 times daily if required.

Ingredients
Active ingredient:
- Mepyramine maleate 2% w/w – antihistamine
Other ingredients include:
Purified water, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, sodium lauryl sulfate, chlorocresol and fragrance.

Warnings & Precautions
- For external use only.
- Do not apply to broken, infected or weeping skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not use if you are allergic to mepyramine or any of the ingredients.
- Do not use on large areas of skin or for prolonged periods.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Possible Side Effects
- Generally well tolerated when used as directed.
- Rarely, local skin irritation or allergic reactions (such as redness or rash) may occur.
If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop using the cream and seek medical advice.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the tube or carton.
