Description
Aptamil Advanced 3 Toddler Milk Powder 800g is a fortified milk drink for young children aged 1–3 years, designed to help support nutrient intake as part of a varied, balanced diet.
Inspired by early life nutrition research, this formula includes a fermented dairy-based blend and is the only toddler milk in the UK with GOS/FOS and 2’-FL (2’-fucosyllactose).

How to Use
Preparation (per drink)
Because powdered milks are not sterile, careful preparation is important.
- Wash hands and use a clean beaker and clean utensils.
- Boil fresh water, then allow it to cool (do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water).
- Measure 150ml (5 fl oz) of boiled, cooled water into a clean beaker.
- Using the scoop provided, add 5 level scoops (do not press/heap).
- Put the lid on and shake immediately, vertically and vigorously, for at least 10 seconds until dissolved.
- Check temperature and serve immediately.
Daily use guidance
- Manufacturer guidance suggests about 2 × 150ml beakers per day from 1 year onwards, alongside a varied, balanced diet.
Storage
- Store powder in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate.
- Use within 4 weeks of opening.
After preparation
- Make up each drink as required. For hygiene reasons, do not store made-up drinks.
- Discard unfinished drinks as soon as possible, and always within 2 hours.

Important warnings
- Not suitable for cows’ milk allergy or lactose intolerance.
- Not suitable for intravenous use.
- Not suitable for vegetarians (contains fish oil).
- Do not heat in a microwave (hot spots may occur and cause scalding).
- Never add extra scoops or anything else to the drink unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Because powder is not sterile, failure to follow preparation and storage instructions may make your child ill.
Dental advice
- Do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk drinks with teeth, as this can increase the risk of tooth decay.
Possible side effects
Toddlers can sometimes experience mild, temporary digestive changes (for example, wind or changes in stool pattern) when switching milks or diets.
