Description
Belladonna Plaster Large (28cm x 17.5cm) is a medicated, self-adhesive plaster applied to the skin for the traditional relief of aches and pains associated with muscular tension and strain. Its large format is designed to cover broader areas such as the back and shoulder region.
Recommended for the relief of:
- Muscular tension and strain
- Stiff neck and aching shoulders
- Backache
- Sciatica
- Lumbago
- Rheumatism
Active ingredient strength: Belladonna alkaloids (as hyoscamine) 0.25% w/w.
How to Use
For adults and children over 10 years only.
- Ensure the area to be treated is clean and dry.
- The plaster may be cut to a convenient size before removing the backing paper.
- Remove the backing paper and apply to the affected area.
- Remove after 2–3 days. Ensure the plaster is dry before removing.
- Apply another plaster if required.
Storage: Do not store above 25°C. Store in original packaging. Keep away from direct heat/sunlight. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Belladonna alkaloids 0.25% w/w.
Also contains: Lanolin, Natural Rubber, Partially Hydrogenated Wood Resins, Corn Starch, Kaolin, 2,5-di-tert-amylhydroquinone.
Side Effects & Warnings
Do not use if you:
- Suffer from glaucoma
- Are allergic to adhesive plasters
- Have inflamed or broken skin
- Have applied any other medication to the skin
- Are using a medication that contains antihistamines
Do not use on the face.
Not recommended for:
- Children under 10 years
- Pregnant or breast-feeding women (seek advice if unsure)
Possible side effects:
- Skin irritation may occasionally occur.
Stop use and seek advice:
- If the skin beneath the plaster begins to hurt, remove immediately and wash with soap and water.
- If any unwanted effects occur, discontinue use and speak to a pharmacist/doctor.
- If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Expiry: Do not use after the expiry date shown.
