Benylin Children’s Night Coughs – 125 ml is a night-time cough medicine formulated to help relieve dry, tickly coughs and associated discomfort in children, particularly when symptoms are more troublesome at bedtime. It is designed to soothe the throat and ease coughing, helping children settle and sleep more comfortably through the night.
The gentle formulation contains a sedating antihistamine which helps dry nasal secretions and reduce coughing at night, supporting rest without the need for repeated dosing. This product is suitable for short-term use as part of the management of coughs associated with colds.
How to Use
Children aged 6 to 12 years:
- Give 5 ml at bedtime.
Children aged 1 to 5 years:
- Give 2.5 ml at bedtime.
Important UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:
- Use the measuring spoon or oral syringe provided to ensure accurate dosing.
- Do not give more than one dose in 24 hours.
- For night-time use only.
- Do not use for more than 5 days without advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

Not suitable for:
- Children under 1 year of age.
