Benylin Infants Cough Syrup 125ml is a gentle cough remedy specially formulated to help soothe coughs and irritated throats in babies and infants from 3 months of age. It is suitable for both dry and chesty coughs, helping to relieve discomfort and support restful sleep.

The syrup works by coating and soothing the throat, easing the tickly sensation that can trigger coughing. It is non-drowsy, alcohol-free, and sugar-free, making it suitable for young children and for use during the day or night.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist, GP or health visitor.

Dosage:

• Babies aged 3 months to under 1 year:
• 2.5ml, up to 4 times daily
• Children aged 1–5 years:
• 5ml, up to 4 times daily

Administration:

• Use the supplied measuring spoon or oral syringe
• Can be given with or without food

Important dosing advice:

• Do not exceed the stated dose
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, or if the cough worsens, seek medical advice

Active ingredients:

• Glycerol – helps soothe and coat the throat
• Liquid glucose – provides a demulcent effect to ease irritation

• Citric acid
• Sodium citrate
