BioXtra Dry Mouth Oral Gel 40 ml is a dry mouth (xerostomia) relief gel formulated to moisturise, soothe and lubricate the oral cavity when saliva flow is reduced or absent. The product acts as an effective substitute for natural saliva, helping to regulate the micro-environment of the mouth, ease discomfort and support oral comfort day and night.

This gentle, alcohol- and menthol-free gel is especially suitable for people experiencing dry mouth due to medical conditions, medication side effects, ageing, Sjögren’s syndrome, cancer therapy, hormonal imbalance or simply reduced saliva production. The formulation can be applied to the gums, tongue or under dentures to relieve dry, sore or sensitive oral tissues.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over (use in younger children only as advised by a healthcare professional):

1. Wash hands thoroughly before use.
2. Squeeze a small amount of gel onto a clean fingertip or swab.
3. Apply the gel gently and evenly to the gums, tongue and other dry areas inside the mouth, including under dentures if relevant.
4. Use the gel whenever symptoms of dry mouth occur, especially before bedtime or when comfort is needed throughout the day.
5. Remove or spit out excess gel once applied.

Typical Use Guidance:

• Apply liberally as and when dry mouth symptoms return, but do not exceed the recommended daily amount unless directed by a pharmacist or clinician.
• For best results, maintain regular application during periods of dryness.
