Blepha Gel Daily Eyelid Cleansing - 30g Gel

Blephagel is a hypoallergenic gel for gentle daily cleansing of the eyelids, designed for sensitive, irritated and allergy-prone skin. It is preservative-free, perfume-free and alcohol-free, and has been tested under ophthalmological control.

It is specially formulated to:

• Refresh, soften and soothe eyelids
• Remove dirt, tears, dried secretions, pollen and make-up from eyelids and eyelash roots
• Respect natural eyelid hydration
• Leave no residue and is not greasy or sticky

Eyelid hygiene is commonly recommended by eye care professionals to support comfort where eyelid/eye surface irritation is associated with conditions such as blepharitis, dry eye linked to meibomian gland dysfunction, allergic conjunctivitis, and certain inflammatory skin conditions affecting the eyelids (when advised).

Pack size: 30g tube, providing approximately 60 applications.

Always use as directed on the packaging/leaflet.

How often:

• Apply twice daily (morning and evening), or as often as your eyelids need to be cleansed.

Before first use (priming the pump):

• Gently press the front of the tube for 3 seconds to push gel towards the pump, then point the tube downwards and press the pump head 3 times to prime.

Step-by-step application:

1. Press the pump head to release a small amount of gel onto a pad (do not squeeze the tube). Remove any gel left on the nozzle with the pad.
2. Using a mirror, close one eye and gently apply the gel to the closed eyelid and eyelash roots.
3. Using circular movements, gently rub the eyelid and lash roots until dirt, make-up and debris are removed.
4. Remove any excess gel from the eyelid with a clean pad.
5. Repeat for the other eye.

Important:

• Do not apply directly into the eyes.
• Blephagel is non-greasy, non-sticky and does not need to be rinsed after use.
• Suitable for use by contact lens wearers. 

Ingredients (INCI): Aqua, Poloxamer 188, PEG-90, BHT, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide.

Free from: preservatives, perfume, alcohol (ethanol). 

For external use on eyelids only. Do not apply directly into the eyes.

Stop use and seek advice from a pharmacist/optometrist/GP if:

• You develop persistent irritation, swelling, worsening redness, or symptoms do not improve (this may indicate sensitivity to an ingredient or another eye condition needing assessment). Blephagel is designed to reduce skin reactions, but any product can still cause sensitivity in some people.

Hygiene / contamination control:

• Keep the nozzle clean (wipe gel from the nozzle with the pad as directed).
• Do not cut the tube (contamination risk).
• Do not share eyelid products between users.

Storage:

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Throw away 4 months after first opening.
