Canesten Cream Combi gives you a twin pack of products that help relieve recurring vaginal thrush symptoms.
Description
Canesten® Cream Combi is a dual-action treatment for vaginal thrush, designed to treat both the internal infection and external symptoms in one convenient pack.
The pack contains:
- 5g internal cream with applicator to treat the cause of thrush inside the vagina
- 10g external cream to relieve itching, soreness and irritation around the vulval area
Both creams contain clotrimazole, a clinically proven antifungal medicine that treats Candida yeast, the most common cause of thrush. This combined approach helps clear the infection effectively while providing fast symptomatic relief.

How to Use
Internal cream (5g):
- Use the applicator to insert one full dose into the vagina, preferably at bedtime.
- This is a single-dose treatment.
External cream (10g):
- Apply a thin layer to the affected external area.
- Use 2–3 times daily until symptoms improve.
- Continue external treatment for up to 7 days if required.
Wash hands before and after use. The external cream is for external use only.
- If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they worsen, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Side Effects & Warnings
- Not suitable for children under 16 years or adults over 60 years without medical advice.
- Do not use if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Do not use if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the ingredients.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
Possible side effects may include mild burning, stinging or irritation where the cream is applied. If severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.
Important:
Do not use this product if this is your first episode of thrush, if symptoms are recurrent (more than twice in 6 months), or if you experience abnormal vaginal bleeding, unusual discharge, lower abdominal pain, fever or an unpleasant odour.
