Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo - 250ml

Capasal® Therapeutic Shampoo 250ml is a medicated shampoo used to help manage scalp conditions associated with scaling, dryness and flaking, including psoriasis of the scalp, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff and cradle cap.

Capasal® contains a combination of salicylic acid, coal tar solution and coconut oil, which work together to:

• Loosen and remove thick scales from the scalp
• Reduce redness and inflammation
• Soothe dryness and itching
• Moisturise and soften the scalp

Salicylic acid helps break down and lift scales, coal tar helps slow excessive skin cell turnover and reduce inflammation, while coconut oil moisturises and conditions the scalp and hair.

Capasal® Therapeutic Shampoo is suitable for adults and children when used as directed and is often recommended as part of a regular scalp care routine for ongoing management of chronic scalp conditions.

• Wet hair thoroughly.
• Apply sufficient shampoo to cover the scalp.
• Gently massage into the scalp.
• Leave on for 5 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.

Recommended use:

• Use once daily or as directed by a pharmacist or GP.
• When symptoms improve, frequency may be reduced.

Avoid contact with eyes. If shampoo gets into the eyes, rinse well with water.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 2–4 weeks, seek medical advice.

Possible side effects are uncommon but may include mild scalp irritation, redness or itching, particularly at the start of treatment.

Important warnings:
