Care ViraSoothe Chickenpox Relief Cooling Gel – 50 g is a non-medicated topical gel developed to provide cooling and soothing relief from the irritating symptoms of chickenpox, such as itchiness, redness and discomfort. The red spots and blisters associated with chickenpox often become itchy and inflamed; scratching can spread bacteria and lead to infection or scarring. ViraSoothe contains Osmo Care, a patented technology that has been clinically proven to cool the skin and help break the itch-scratch cycle, supporting the environment for natural healing and potentially helping reduce long-term scarring.

This gentle, clear gel can be used on the face and body of affected areas, making it suitable for children over 6 months, adults and the elderly when used as directed. 

Before use, wash and dry hands thoroughly.

• Apply a small amount of the gel to the affected chickenpox spots.

• Rub gently into the skin with a light massaging action.

• Use two to three times a day or whenever relief is needed, reapplying as necessary.

• Suitable for use all over the face and body on itchy spots.

• Avoid eye contact; if gel gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• For external use only.

Important:

• Children under 6 months and adults with widespread or severe chickenpox should be treated only under medical supervision.

Care ViraSoothe Chickenpox Relief Cooling Gel contains:

• Glycerin – helps moisturise and condition skin.

• PEG-8 – humectant that helps attract and retain moisture.

• Caprylyl Glycol – skin-conditioning agent.

• Sodium Polyacrylate – forms a protective gel matrix on the skin.

• Carbomer – gel base thickener.

• Sodium Hydroxide – pH adjuster.

• Purified Water (Aqua) – solvent and gel base.

No preservatives are included in this formulation.

Warnings & Precautions

• External use only. Do not ingest.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• Not to be used in babies under 6 months unless directed by a clinician.

• Adults, the elderly and children under 6 months should only be treated under medical supervision.

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

• For sensitive skin: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

• Store below 25 °C in the original carton.

Possible Side Effects

• Local skin irritation: In rare cases, mild redness, stinging or irritation may occur at the application site.

• If irritation persists, worsens, or signs of secondary skin infection develop (such as spreading redness, warmth, swelling, discharge), discontinue use and seek advice from a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
