Product Overview
Medicated callus-removal caps with a cushioned felt ring and salicylic acid centre to soften thickened skin while reducing pressure.
Description
Carnation Callous Caps are medicated callus-removal plasters designed to treat painful, thickened calluses caused by repeated friction and pressure. Each plaster combines a large soft felt ring to cushion the area and reduce pressure, with a medicated centre containing salicylic acid to help soften and loosen hard, dead skin so it can be removed more easily.
Key benefits:
- Helps remove calluses by softening thickened skin layers
- Felt ring cushioning helps relieve rubbing and pressure from footwear
- All-in-one, single-step application with a self-adhesive plaster
Active ingredient strength: Salicylic Acid 40% w/w.
How to Use
- For best adhesion, wash and thoroughly dry the feet.
- Remove the backing paper and position the felt ring directly over the callus (medicated centre over the thickened area).
- Press firmly to secure. When applied properly, it should not slip or move.
- Leave in place for 3 days, then remove and clean away any loosened skin.
- If needed, repeat with the second plaster if the callus has not been removed.
Ingredients
- Salicylic Acid 40% w/w (active ingredient).
- Medicated centre excipients commonly listed for this product include: peanut oil, yellow beeswax, partially hydrogenated wood rosin, vegetable triglyceride, and colourings (E124 Ponceau 4R, E110 Sunset Yellow).
