Product Overview
CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 is a lightweight daily face moisturiser that hydrates, helps protect the skin barrier and provides high UVA/UVB protection.
Description
CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 is a daily lightweight facial moisturiser designed for normal to dry skin. It combines SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection with all-day hydration to help protect the skin from sun exposure while supporting the skin’s natural barrier. The formula helps leave skin feeling soothed and hydrated for up to 24 hours.
Developed with dermatologists, this facial moisturiser contains 3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and vitamin E. It also uses MVE Technology, designed to help release moisturising ingredients over time for longer-lasting hydration. The texture is described as lightweight, non-greasy, and made to leave no white residue on the skin.
This presentation is sold in a 52ml tube format in the UK, making it a practical everyday choice for morning skincare routines and daily sun protection in one step.
How to Use
Apply liberally to the face and neck in the morning after cleansing. Use the pump applicator to dispense the lotion onto your fingertips, then smooth evenly over the skin. Allow the product to absorb fully before layering additional skincare or makeup.
Use every morning as the final moisturising step in your daytime skincare routine. For best results, apply after cleansing with a suitable facial cleanser. As with other SPF products, even coverage is important for effective protection.
Ingredients
3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin E, and broad-spectrum SPF 50 UVA/UVB filters. These ingredients help support the skin barrier, maintain hydration, and provide daily sun protection.
Side Effects & Warnings
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency of use or stop use and seek advice if needed. These are standard precautions for facial moisturisers with SPF and are especially relevant for sensitive or compromised skin.
This product is suitable for normal to dry skin and is also described in UK retail listings as suitable for sensitive skin and acne-prone skin. Despite that, any skincare product can still cause irritation in some individuals, especially if the skin barrier is already impaired.
