Description
Clarinaze Allergy Control Nasal Spray 0.05% (140 sprays) is a pharmacy-available corticosteroid nasal spray designed to provide effective daily relief from the nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis including hayfever and perennial allergies. It contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the nasal passages, helping to alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy or runny nose and irritation.
Unlike simple decongestants, Clarinaze works at the source of allergic inflammation to help control your symptoms throughout the day with just one dose, making it suitable for people whose allergies recur seasonally or year-round.

How to Use
Adults 18 years and over only; this product is not recommended for use in children.
• Shake the bottle gently before opening.
• Prime the spray (first use) by pumping until a fine mist appears. If unused for 14 days or more, re-prime with 2 sprays.
• Blow your nose gently before use if required.
• Insert the nozzle into one nostril while tilting your head slightly forward. Breathe in gently through the nose and press down once to deliver one spray; repeat in the other nostril.
• The typical starting dose is two sprays per nostril once daily. Once symptoms are under control, you may reduce to one spray per nostril once daily. Do not exceed four sprays in a day.
• Use regularly at the same time each day for best results.
• If symptoms do not improve after 14 days of regular use, consult a clinician or pharmacist.

Warnings & Precautions
• For nasal use only. Do not spray this product in the eyes or mouth.
• Adults only: Not for use in children under 18 years.
• Use only as directed; do not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms persist or recur frequently, seek advice from a clinician or pharmacist.
• Pregnancy & breastfeeding: consult a clinician before use.
• Avoid use in the presence of an untreated nasal infection until the infection is cleared.
• If you have recently had nasal surgery or significant trauma, speak to a clinician before use.
• Do not use continuously for more than 3 months without medical supervision.
• Contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause nasal irritation or swelling when used long-term.
Possible Side Effects
As with all corticosteroid nasal sprays, side effects may occur, although not everyone experiences them. These can include:
• Nasal dryness or irritation
• Nosebleeds (epistaxis)
• Headache or sore throat
• Sneezing following use
• Rarely, allergic reactions such as swelling of face, lips or throat.
