Product Overview
Pack of 3 dip pregnancy test strips. Detects hCG in urine with 20 mIU sensitivity and results in 5 minutes. Over 99% accurate.
Description
Clear & Simple Pregnancy Test Strips x3 are easy-to-use home pregnancy test strips designed to detect pregnancy by measuring the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. hCG is produced shortly after a fertilised egg attaches to the uterine lining.
With 20 mIU sensitivity, these strips can detect low levels of hCG and may be able to indicate pregnancy up to 4 days before an expected missed period (testing too early can increase the chance of a negative result even if pregnant). Results are shown as clear line indicators and are ready in 5 minutes. The test is stated as over 99% accurate when used as directed.
Pack size: 3 test strips (portrait pack).
How to Use
Always read the leaflet inside your pack before use.
Before testing
- Check the expiry date and use a strip immediately after opening the sachet.
- If testing early, consider using first morning urine (it can contain higher hCG levels).
Dip method (recommended for strips)
- Collect urine in a clean, dry container.
- Remove a strip and hold it by the coloured end.
- Dip the strip into the urine only up to the “MAX” line (do not immerse above the line).
- Remove after the time stated in the leaflet (commonly a few seconds) and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry surface.
- Read the result at 5 minutes and within the time window stated in the leaflet.
Understanding results (typical)
- Two lines = pregnant
- One control line only = not pregnant
- No control line = invalid (repeat with a new test)
If the result is negative but your period is late, repeat in 48 hours or seek advice.
Ingredients
This is an in vitro diagnostic device, so “ingredients” refers to test materials/components (not medicinal ingredients).
Typical pregnancy test strip components include:
- Test membrane (often nitrocellulose with hCG antibodies)
- Sample pad and absorbent pad
- Backing card and printed result area
(Components can vary by manufacturer/batch. Check the pack/leaflet for the exact materials for your product.)
Side Effects & Warnings
- For in vitro diagnostic use only. Not for internal use.
- Single use only. Do not reuse a strip.
- Do not use if the sachet is damaged or the test is out of date.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children (small parts/sachets can be a choking hazard).
- If you get an invalid result, repeat with a new test and follow the leaflet carefully.
- A positive result should be followed by appropriate next steps for pregnancy care; if you have severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, shoulder tip pain, fainting, or feel very unwell, seek urgent medical help.
