Description
Clinell® Universal Wipes (Pack of 200) are pre-moistened, single-use detergent and disinfectant wipes designed for the cleaning and disinfection of hard surfaces and non-invasive medical devices in one step.
They are commonly used for routine wipe-down of frequently touched areas and equipment where effective cleaning and disinfection is required, helping reduce the risk of cross-contamination when used correctly (one wipe, one direction, then discard).
How to Use
Use on hard, non-porous surfaces and non-invasive medical devices only.
- Open the lid, remove one wipe and reseal the pack after use to help prevent wipes drying out.
- Working from clean to dirty, wipe the surface using an “S” shaped pattern, taking care not to go over the same area twice.
- If the wipe becomes dry or visibly soiled, use a fresh wipe and continue.
- Allow the surface to air dry fully to achieve disinfection contact time.
- Dispose of the used wipe appropriately after use.
PPE: follow local risk assessment and cleaning protocol (for example, gloves for prolonged use or for users with sensitive skin)
Ingredients
This is a disinfectant wipe (not a medicine). The impregnating solution contains the following declarable components (maximum concentrations shown in the Safety Data Sheet):
- 2-Phenoxyethanol (≤0.6%)
- Benzalkonium chloride (≤0.6%)
- Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (≤0.6%)
- Biphenyl-2-ol (≤0.1%)
Side Effects & Warnings
For cleaning and disinfection of surfaces/equipment only. Not intended for use on skin. If skin irritation develops, seek medical advice.
Avoid contact with eyes. The SDS notes eye irritation may occur. If contact occurs, rinse cautiously with water and seek advice if symptoms persist.
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.
Environmental warning: Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/national regulations.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Do not allow to freeze. Keep container closed when not in use.
Compatibility: Contact with certain substances (e.g., oils/dyes/ionic substances) may reduce effectiveness; avoid mixing with oxidising/reducing agents.
