Colief Lactase Enzyme Infant Drops 7ml are a natural food supplement containing lactase enzyme designed to help make breast milk or infant formula easier for babies to digest. For the first few months of life, some infants may have difficulty digesting lactose, the complex sugar found in milk, which can contribute to digestive discomfort and colic-like symptoms.

Colief Drops work by adding lactase enzyme to the baby’s feed before drinking, helping to break down lactose into simpler sugars (glucose and galactose) that are easier to digest. This can help reduce bloating, wind and fussiness associated with lactose understanding, providing a gentle, well-tolerated option to support natural digestion.

Directions for use:

• Do not give the drops directly into the baby’s mouth.
• Add to milk before feeding:
• • For breastfeeding — express a small amount of breast milk into a clean container and add Colief Drops; feed to your baby before a feed.
• • For formula feeds — prepare formula according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then add the appropriate number of drops to the warm (not hot) formula and allow time for the enzyme to act before feeding.

Typical usage guidance:

• Follow the enclosed leaflet for specific dosing and drop counts.
• Do not exceed the recommended maximum of 64 drops in 24 hours.

Preparation tips:

• Warm formula or expressed milk before adding drops if recommended.
• Gently mix or shake the milk after adding drops and wait the recommended time for enzyme action before feeding.

• Lactase enzyme (Kluyveromyces lactis) — a natural enzyme to help break down lactose.

• Glycerol (used as a carrier)
• Purified water
