Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Treatment Mouthwash - 300ml

Corsodyl® Alcohol-Free Treatment Mouthwash 300ml is a medicated antibacterial mouthwash used to help treat and prevent gum disease (gingivitis) and support oral health where gum problems are present.

It contains chlorhexidine digluconate 0.2%, a clinically proven antiseptic that helps reduce plaque-causing bacteria in the mouth. Regular short-term use helps relieve symptoms such as bleeding gums, redness, swelling and soreness, and supports gum healing.

The alcohol-free formulation is suitable for people who prefer or require a gentler option, including those with sensitive mouths or dry mouth.

Key features:

• Treats and helps prevent gum disease (gingivitis)
• Contains chlorhexidine digluconate 0.2%
• Helps reduce plaque and oral bacteria
• Alcohol-free, non-stinging formula
• Pharmacy-strength treatment mouthwash

• Measure 10ml of mouthwash.
• Rinse around the mouth for 1 minute.
• Spit out; do not swallow.

Use twice daily, morning and evening.

Do not rinse with water after use. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after rinsing.

• Use for short-term treatment unless advised otherwise by a dentist, pharmacist or GP.

This formulation is alcohol-free.

• Not suitable for children under 12 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
• Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine or any of the ingredients.

Possible side effects:

• Temporary staining of teeth, tongue or fillings
• Temporary taste disturbance or burning sensation

These effects usually reverse after stopping treatment. Brushing twice daily and avoiding tea, coffee and red wine during treatment may reduce staining.
