Product Overview
CosmoCol is a laxative used for the treatment of long term (chronic) constipation and faecal impaction (persistent constipation, where a large volume of stools cause a blockage of the rectum and / or colon).
Description
CosmoCol® Orange Flavour Sachets is an effective osmotic laxative used for the relief of constipation and to help restore regular bowel movements.
It contains macrogol (PEG 3350) with electrolytes, which works by holding water in the stool. This softens stools and makes them easier to pass without stimulating the bowel, helping to reduce straining. CosmoCol® is suitable for people who require a gentle, non-habit-forming laxative, including for longer-term use when advised.
The pleasant orange flavour makes it easier to take regularly. This pack contains 30 sachets, suitable for short-term or ongoing constipation management.
