Covonia Dry & Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml

Covonia Dry & Tickly Cough Linctus 150ml is a non-drowsy oral solution for the soothing relief of dry, irritating coughs and sore throats. It contains glycerol, which coats the throat to help calm irritation and ease the urge to cough, making it a practical option for daytime or nighttime symptom relief without drowsiness.

This linctus is suitable for adults, the elderly, and children over 1 year. It is also described as suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs. The 150ml bottle is part of the verified UK pack range, alongside larger bottle sizes. 

Shake the bottle before use. Take by mouth using a suitable 5ml spoon or measuring device. For adults, the elderly and children over 12 years, take 2 x 5ml spoonfuls when required, up to a maximum of 4 times a day. For children over 1 year, take 1 x 5ml spoonful when required, up to a maximum of 4 times a day. Do not give to children under 1 year unless a doctor tells you to.

If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, or if the cough worsens or does not improve, seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist. 

Active ingredient per 5ml:

Glycerol 1.36g.

Other ingredients:

Honey, capsicum tincture (capsicum oleoresin, ethanol), menthol, peppermint oil, anise oil, citric acid (E330), caramel (E150), liquid glucose, blackcurrant flavour (containing ethanol and propylene glycol), liquorice liquid extract and purified water.

Additional ingredient advice:

Each 5ml also contains sucrose 1.7g, glucose 280mg, ethanol less than 30mg, and propylene glycol 20.6mg. 

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. This product is not suitable for diabetics because it contains sugars. It also contains ethanol, sucrose, glucose, and propylene glycol, which should be considered if checking suitability for dietary or medical reasons.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25°C. Once opened, use within 28 days.
