Covonia Night Time Formula - 150ml

Covonia Night Time Formula 150 ml is a night-time pharmacy medicine formulated to help relieve the key symptoms of dry coughs and nasal congestion caused by colds and upper respiratory infections, especially those that disrupt sleep. Its carefully balanced liquid formula combines cough suppression with antihistamine-based decongestant action to help you settle at night, easing throat irritation and supporting restful sleep.

Clinically designed for bedtime use only, this oral solution helps:

• Calm and soothe dry, tickly coughs that can keep you awake.
• Relieve nasal congestion and runny nose.
• Promote comfort and sleep at night when symptoms are most troublesome.

Suitable for adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and over.

Adults, the elderly & children aged 12 years and over:

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Take 3 x 5 ml spoonfuls at bedtime.
• If needed, you may take another 3 x 5 ml dose after 6 hours, but do not exceed the stated dose on the label or leaflet.

• For night-time relief only; do not use regularly at other times of the day.
• Use the measuring cap/spoon provided to ensure accurate dosing.

Active Ingredients (per 5 ml):

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 6.65 mg – a cough suppressant that reduces the urge to cough.
• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 10 mg – a sedating antihistamine that reduces nasal congestion and may support sleep.

• Ethanol (7.3 % vol)
• Glycerol (E422)
• Sorbitol (E420)
• Sodium Benzoate (E211)
• Maltitol liquid
• Propylene Glycol
• Hydroxyethylcellulose
• Povidone K30
• Saccharin Sodium
• Menthol, peppermint oil, anise oil, capsicum tincture
• Citric Acid monohydrate
• Macrogol cetostearyl ether
• Blackcurrant flavour and caramel colour.

Who should not use this medicine

• Children under 12 years of age.
• People allergic to diphenhydramine, dextromethorphan or any of the ingredients.
• Those taking other cough, cold or flu medicines containing diphenhydramine or dextromethorphan.
• If you have taken MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) within the last 14 days.

• May cause drowsiness or sedation; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Avoid alcohol while using this medicine as it may increase drowsiness.
