Product Overview
Home-use cryotherapy kit to freeze suitable skin tags (2–6mm) so they fall off naturally, usually within 2 weeks. Up to 12 treatments.
Description
Cryotag Skin Tag Remover is a home-use cryotherapy kit designed specifically for the removal of skin tags only. It works by instantly freezing the core of the skin tag, destroying the tag tissue so the skin tag falls off naturally, usually within 2 weeks after treatment.
Fast, targeted treatment: Cryotag uses a precision-tip applicator to target the skin tag itself while helping to keep surrounding skin exposure to a minimum.
Suitable skin tags must match ALL of the following (use only if all apply):
- Location: neck, chest, underarms, back or groin only
- Colour: similar to surrounding skin
- Shape/feel: soft, flexible and raised on a stalk (you should be able to move it with your finger)
- Size: 2mm to 6mm
Kit contents (typical): pressurised aerosol canister with safety shield, cap/applicator holder, 12 precision-tip applicators (12 treatments), and disposable tweezers (plus instruction leaflet).
If you are unsure whether a lesion is a skin tag, do not treat it. Seek advice from a GP or pharmacist.
How to Use
Always read and follow the full instructions before use.
Key points before you start
- Do not spray directly onto skin.
- Use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from face and clothing.
- You will need a timer (treatment timing is important).
Step-by-step (summary of leaflet method)
- Attach a precision-tip applicator by firmly twisting it into the opening on the bottom of the cap.
- Place the canister upright on a stable surface. Insert cap with applicator into the safety shield on the canister. Keeping upright, press the cap all the way down for 3 seconds to saturate the applicator (you may hear a hissing sound).
- Remove the cap and applicator. Hold with the tip facing down and wait 15 seconds before applying to allow the tip to reach the correct temperature.
- Use the tweezers to grasp the skin tag and gently pull it away from the base. Place the applicator tip onto the stalk of the skin tag and apply continuously for 40 seconds. Do not dab.
After treatment, the skin tag may darken before it falls off. Most skin tags fall off within 2 weeks.
Repeat treatment: If the skin tag has not fallen off within 2 weeks, you may treat again, up to 4 treatment cycles, leaving 2 weeks between treatments.
Ingredients
Cryotag’s pressurised canister contains a mixture of: dimethyl ether, isobutane, and propane.
(These are not “medicinal ingredients”; they are the cryogenic propellants used to create the freezing effect.)
