Dermacool Menthol Aqueous 2% cream - 500 g

Dermacool® Menthol Aqueous Cream 500g is a soothing cooling emollient cream designed to help relieve itching, irritation and discomfort associated with dry, inflamed or itchy skin conditions.

Formulated with menthol, Dermacool® provides a gentle cooling sensation that helps calm irritated skin, while the aqueous cream base moisturises and protects the skin barrier. It is commonly used to relieve itching caused by eczema, dermatitis, allergic rashes, heat rash, insect bites, chickenpox and other pruritic skin conditions.

The large 500g pack makes it suitable for regular or whole-body use, particularly where ongoing itch relief and skin hydration are required.

Directions for Use

• Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application.
• Apply a thin layer of Dermacool Menthol Aqueous Cream to the affected areas and massage gently until absorbed.
• Use as often as required throughout the day to relieve itch and discomfort.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Not intended for use on the face of infants or young children (see warnings).

• Paraffinum Liquidum (Liquid Paraffin) – helps soften and hydrate dry skin.

Other Ingredients

• Aqua (Water) – base of the cream.
• Cetearyl Alcohol – fatty alcohol emulsifier and conditioner.
• Ceteareth‑20 – emulsifier helping blend water and oils.
• Phenoxyethanol – preservative.

The formulation is SLS‑free, reducing potential irritancy compared with traditional aqueous creams. 

Important Safety Information

• For external use only. Do not ingest.
• Avoid use on broken, cracked or severely damaged skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes. In the event of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
• Not recommended for use on the face, nose, upper lip or oral mucosa of infants and young children; only use as directed by a healthcare professional for those under two years.
• Rarely, skin irritation such as redness, stinging or rash may occur. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.
