E45 Cream – 350 g is a clinically proven dermatological emollient cream designed to hydrate, soothe and protect dry, irritated or sensitive skin. Its non-greasy, fragrance-free formulation helps restore moisture, leaving skin soft, comfortable and relieved. It is dermatologically tested and suitable for daily use on dry, flaky, chapped or itchy skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, ichthyosis, dry psoriasis and sunburn, and is also effective for detergent-affected hands.

The cream forms a protective, breathable barrier to help prevent moisture loss and support the skin’s natural function, making it suitable for all ages, including infants over one month old (when used as directed).

Product Type: Emollient moisturising cream for dry and sensitive skin

Apply liberally to clean, dry skin of the affected area.

• Use 2–3 times daily or as required, especially after bathing or washing, to help lock in moisture and protect the skin’s natural barrier.

• Gently massage the cream into the skin until absorbed; avoid vigorous rubbing that could irritate sensitive skin.

• Suitable for adults, children and infants over 1 month old when used as directed in accordance with clinician/pharmacist advice.

• Avoid contact with eyes, and do not apply near the mouth, inner nose or genital area. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Active Ingredients:

• White Soft Paraffin 14.5% w/w – occlusive moisturiser that helps reduce moisture loss.

• Light Liquid Paraffin 12.6% w/w – emollient for hydration and skin softening.

• Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilan®) 1.0% w/w – moisturising and conditioning agent.

Other Ingredients:

• Glyceryl Monostearate – skin-conditioning agent.

• Cetyl Alcohol – emollient and texture enhancer.

• Sodium Cetostearyl Sulphate – emulsifier.

• Carbomer – thickener.

• Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218) & Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216) – preservatives that can rarely cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

• Sodium Hydroxide and Citric Acid Monohydrate – pH adjusters.

• Purified Water – base.

This balanced formulation provides moisture replenishment and relief for dry, compromised skin without the addition of fragrance or unnecessary additives.

• Avoid broken or infected skin unless under clinician advice.

• Avoid contact with eyes. If product enters eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• Allergy / Sensitivity: Do not use if allergic to any ingredient; cetyl alcohol, E216 or E218 may cause delayed allergic reactions in predisposed individuals.

• Fire Hazard: Paraffin-based creams are flammable; fabrics (clothing, bedding, dressings) that come into contact with E45 can burn more easily. Keep away from naked flames and heat sources, and wash fabrics regularly to reduce build-up.

• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Consult doctor or pharmacist if uncertain.

• Storage: Store below 25 °C and keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Possible Side Effects

• Local skin reactions: Rarely, mild irritation, redness or itching may occur, particularly in very sensitive skin.

• Allergic contact dermatitis: If a rash, swelling or significant irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a clinician.
