Elastoplast Wound Spray - 100ml

Elastoplast Wound Spray 100ml is an antiseptic wound cleansing spray used as the first step in wound care to help remove dirt, particles and bacteria by gentle mechanical irrigation. It is designed for fast, pain-free cleansing and helps protect against infection.

Suitable for minor acute wounds, including:

• Cuts and abrasions
• Open blisters
• First-degree and minor second-degree burns

It may also be used for chronic wounds and post-operative wound care only as directed by a doctor, and can help loosen crusts/clotted dressings.

1. If bleeding is present, control bleeding first (apply gentle pressure with clean gauze).
2. Hold the bottle and spray from about 10cm onto the entire wound area.
3. Repeat if necessary.
4. Gently pat dry the skin around the wound (use clean gauze).
5. For ongoing protection, cover with an appropriate plaster/dressing if needed.

Age guidance: Some UK listings advise children under 2 years should only use after consulting a doctor.

Active solution: 0.1% Decyl Glucoside Tenside and 0.04% Polihexanide (PHMB) in Ringer’s solution.
