Epaderm Cream - 500g

Epaderm Cream – 500 g is a clinically recognised emollient moisturising cream and cleanser developed for the supportive management of dry, irritated, sensitive and eczema‑prone skin. Recommended by healthcare professionals, this 2‑in‑1 formulation helps to restore and maintain skin hydration and softness. It can be applied directly to dry skin or used as a soap substitute during washing to avoid further moisture loss from the skin. Epaderm Cream is fragrance‑free, steroid‑free, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS)‑free and free from colourants, making it suitable for all ages, including babies and adults, and for use on the face, body and limbs. Its rich yet non‑greasy texture absorbs well to support skin comfort and flexibility for everyday dry skin care, including in conditions such as eczema (atopic dermatitis), psoriasis and dermatitis.

Directions for Use

• For external use only.
• As an emollient: Apply liberally to clean, dry skin and gently massage in the direction of hair growth. Use frequently throughout the day, especially after washing or bathing to lock in moisture.
• As a skin cleanser: Dispense a small amount into your hand, lather under warm water and cleanse the skin as you would with a normal soap or shower wash, then rinse and pat dry.
• There is no fixed limit to how much Epaderm you can use; adjust frequency and amount to skin dryness and comfort needs.
• Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• If your skin condition does not improve, worsens or you suspect infection, consult a pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Key Moisturising & Emollient Components

• Liquid Paraffin Ph. Eur. – occlusive emollient that helps lock in moisture.
• Yellow Soft Paraffin BP – barrier‑forming moisturiser to soften and protect dry skin.
• Glycerine BP – humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the outer skin layers.
• Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax BP (contains Cetostearyl Alcohol and Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether 22) – emulsifier for smooth texture.
• Chlorocresol BP – preservative.
• Purified Water EP – formulation base.

This formulation is intentionally free from fragrance, colouring, SLS, parabens and steroids to minimise irritation risk in sensitive skin.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
• Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. If you experience irritation, redness, rash or other undesirable effects, discontinue use and seek advice from a pharmacist or healthcare professional.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Fire hazard: Emollients containing paraffin can make clothing, bedding, dressings and fabrics more easily flammable after use. Do not smoke or go near naked flames; wash fabrics regularly at high temperature to reduce build‑up.

Possible Side Effects

• Most users tolerate Epaderm Cream well; however mild local reactions such as stinging, itching or redness may occur, particularly on very inflamed or broken skin. If this persists or worsens, seek medical advice.

Pregnancy & Breast‑Feeding

• Epaderm Cream may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding when used as directed; if unsure, consult your pharmacist or GP.

Storage

• Store below 25 °C, keep the lid closed when not in use and do not use past the expiry date.
