Epimax Eyelid Ointment Preservative Free – 4 g is a gentle, preservative-free dermatological ointment formulated to soothe, hydrate and protect the delicate skin of the eyelids. It is intended for use on dry, irritated, red and flaky eyelid skin, including cases associated with conditions such as blepharitis, eyelid eczema and sensitivity to environmental stressors.

The product creates a protective, moisturising barrier on the eyelid surface, supporting natural hydration and helping reduce irritation and discomfort from dryness. Its preservative-free composition makes it suitable for individuals with sensitive skin and those prone to reactions to preservatives or additives.

Adults and children aged 3 years and over:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before application.
• Apply a small amount of ointment to the skin of the affected eyelid(s) as needed, typically once or twice daily.
• Gently smooth the ointment over the dry or irritated areas, avoiding direct entry into the eye itself.
• For best results, the ointment can be used as part of a daily eyelid care routine, especially if irritation is persistent or recurrent.

Important UK pharmacy guidance:

• If you are using other eye drops or treatments, wait at least 10 minutes between products unless otherwise directed by a pharmacist or clinician.
