Epitact Bunion Brace Corrector - Small

EPITACT Bunion Brace Corrector (Small) is a flexible daytime hallux valgus (bunion) corrector designed to be worn inside your usual shoes while walking. It acts as a 2-in-1 big toe straightener and bunion shield, helping to reduce pressure and rubbing from footwear while guiding the big toe towards a straighter position.

How it works (patented design):

• EPITHELIUMFLEX™ silicone tendon helps straighten the big toe as the device is gently pulled backwards on the foot, while also helping protect the bunion from pressure and friction.
• EPITHELIUM™ gel patch sits behind the bunion to provide targeted comfort and support.
• Forefoot fabric band helps limit widening of the forefoot, supporting comfort in shoes.

Product features:

• Ultra-thin, lightweight and flexible for day wear (not a rigid night splint).
• Adjustable level of correction by gradually increasing the backward tension over time.
• Left or right foot use.
• Reusable for several months, machine washable (washing net supplied).

1. Check toe movement first: make sure the big toe can still move sideways (laterally) when gently moved by hand. If it cannot, do not use this device.
2. Put on the brace: insert your forefoot into the strap, then place the “hood” over the big toe.
3. Position the gel patch: place the EPITHELIUM™ patch behind the bunion as shown in the manufacturer diagram/instructions.
4. Build correction gradually:

• Day 1: wear without trying to straighten the toe.
• Over about 10 days, progressively increase correction by pulling the device backwards a little more each day.

Care:

• Wash at 30°C in the washing net or hand wash with soap and water (do not rub). Leave to air dry naturally. Do not iron. 

Composition (materials):

• 58% silicone
• 42% polyamide/elastane fabric 

Do not use overnight.

Do not use if the big toe can no longer move laterally. In this case, choose a bunion protector instead.

Do not use on injured/broken skin.

If you have arteritis, diabetes, lower-limb neuropathy, or ulcers, seek medical/podiatry advice before use and monitor your foot regularly.

Stop using if you experience worsening pain, significant skin irritation, or an adverse reaction, and seek advice.

Keep the product clean and dry between uses; follow all pack instructions.
