ExoCream Tub – 125 g is a gentle, clinically recognised emollient cream formulated for the symptomatic relief of dry skin conditions where an emollient is indicated. It helps soften, moisturise and protect dry, flaky or rough skin by forming a breathable barrier that reduces moisture loss and supports the skin’s natural protective function.

This simple but effective moisturising cream is fragrance-free and suitable for all ages, including infants, making it appropriate for everyday use and for managing a variety of dry skin concerns including eczema (dry itchy skin), contact dermatitis, psoriasis, chapped skin, ichthyosis and traumatic dermatitis.

ExoCream can also be used as a gentle facial cleanser on sensitive skin, avoiding foaming soaps or harsh products which may irritate dry skin further.

Prepare skin: Cleanse and dry the affected area before application.

• Apply Cream: Use a generous amount of ExoCream and smooth it gently over the dry, irritated skin using downward strokes in the direction of hair growth.

• Frequency: Apply regularly and as often as required, especially after washing or bathing, to help maintain hydration.

• General Advice: Emollients should be applied liberally and frequently — even when skin appears better — to prevent dryness and support ongoing skin health.

For best results, avoid vigorous rubbing; allow the cream to absorb naturally into the skin. If you are using other topical products (e.g., medicated treatments), apply ExoCream at a different time to optimise efficacy.

Key Functional Ingredients:

• White Soft Paraffin (14.5 % w/w) – moisturiser and barrier-forming emollient.

• Light Liquid Paraffin (12.6 % w/w) – helps to hydrate and soften skin.

• Hypoallergenic Anhydrous Lanolin (1.0 % w/w) – supports conditioning of the outer skin layers.

Other Ingredients:

• Glyceryl monostearate — moisturising support agent.

• Citric acid monohydrate — pH adjuster.

• Cetyl alcohol — emollient and thickener.

• Sodium hydroxide — pH adjuster.

• Sodium cetostearyl sulfate — emulsifier.

• Carbomer — texture stabiliser.

• Methyl hydroxybenzoate and propyl hydroxybenzoate — preservatives.

• Purified water — solvent.

The formulation is free from added fragrance and designed to provide moisture retention, softness and protection for dry, compromised skin. 

Important Warnings & Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• Allergy / Sensitivity: Do not use if you are allergic (sensitive) to anhydrous lanolin, white soft paraffin or any other ingredient in ExoCream. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur, especially in individuals with known lanolin sensitivity.

• Fire Hazard: Products containing paraffin and lanolin can increase flammability of clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with the cream. Keep away from naked flames and heat sources; wash clothing/bedding regularly to reduce build-up.

• Storage: Store below 25 °C and keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date on the container.

• Broken Skin: Avoid use on broken, infected or oozing skin unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Possible Side Effects

• Local irritation: In rare cases, some users may experience temporary redness, stinging, itching or irritation upon application — particularly on extremely sensitive skin. These effects are usually mild and transient.

• Allergic reaction: If symptoms such as rash, swelling or severe irritation develop, stop use and consult a doctor, nurse or pharmacist promptly.
