Gaviscon Double Action Tablets - 24 Tablets

Gaviscon Double Action Tablets 24 are chewable antacid tablets formulated to deliver fast and long-lasting dual relief from symptoms associated with excess stomach acid such as heartburn, acid reflux, acid regurgitation and indigestion. The unique dual-action formula works in two ways: it neutralises excess gastric acid to ease discomfort and uses sodium alginate to form a protective barrier (“raft”) over stomach contents, helping to prevent acid rising into the oesophagus and soothe chest discomfort.

These tablets are presented in a convenient 24-tablet pack, ideal for on-the-go symptom relief after meals or at bedtime. The mint flavour makes them pleasant to chew without water. Gaviscon is a well-established UK brand trusted for over-the-counter relief of heartburn and indigestion.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Chew thoroughly before swallowing.
• When symptoms occur, take 2–4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

Possible Side Effects

Gaviscon Double Action Tablets are generally well-tolerated when used as directed, but very rare side effects may occur, including:

Warnings & Precautions

• Have a rare hereditary condition such as phenylketonuria (due to aspartame content).
