Because they act directly in the rectum, they are especially useful when oral medicines are not suitable. Relief usually occurs within 5 to 30 minutes.
How to Use
Infants and young children
- Use one suppository when required
- Remove the wrapper
- Gently insert the suppository into the rectum, pointed end first
- Hold the child’s buttocks together briefly to prevent expulsion
