Glycerin (Glycerol) Suppositories BP 1 g Infants are a gentle rectal laxative used to provide fast relief from occasional constipation in infants and young children. They work locally by drawing water into the rectum and softening stools, which helps stimulate a natural bowel movement.

Because they act directly in the rectum, they are especially useful when oral medicines are not suitable. Relief usually occurs within 5 to 30 minutes.

Infants and young children

• Use one suppository when required
• Remove the wrapper
