Product Overview
Non-drowsy once-daily antihistamine tablets with fexofenadine 120 mg for 24-hour relief of hayfever/allergy symptoms in adults and children aged 12 +. Works within 1 hour.
Description
Histallay 120mg Film-Coated Tablets – 30 Tablets are a non-drowsy antihistamine medicine used for the symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis (hayfever) in adults and children aged 12 years and over. Each tablet contains 120 mg of fexofenadine hydrochloride, a second-generation H1 antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine — the chemical responsible for classic allergy symptoms — without significant sedative effects in most people.
This formulation offers fast-acting relief, typically beginning within 1 hour of ingestion and lasting for up to 24 hours with a single daily dose. It helps ease a range of allergy symptoms including sneezing, itchy or runny nose, blocked nose, and itchy, red or watery eyes.
How to Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- Take one 120 mg film-coated tablet once daily, with water, ideally before a meal for best tolerance.
- Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush.
- Do not exceed one tablet in 24 hours.
Important UK pharmacy guidance:
- Not recommended for children under 12 years.
- If symptoms persist beyond appropriate use, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
- If you forget a dose, take the next dose at the usual time; do not double dose.
