Lamisil Athlete’s Foot Cream 1% - 7.5g

Lamisil AT Cream 1% 7.5g is a topical antifungal medicine used to treat a range of fungal skin infections. It is particularly effective for athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) and may also be used for other fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis) and jock itch (tinea cruris), where advised.

The cream contains terbinafine hydrochloride, a clinically proven antifungal agent that works by killing the fungi responsible for infection, rather than just inhibiting their growth. This allows for short treatment courses and rapid symptom relief, helping to reduce itching, redness, soreness and scaling.

Lamisil AT Cream is commonly recommended in pharmacy practice for:

• Athlete’s foot between the toes or on the sole of the foot
• Ringworm on the body
• Fungal infections of the groin area

The cream formulation is easy to apply, absorbs well and is suitable for targeted treatment of affected areas.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist.

Directions for use:

• Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before application
• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and surrounding skin
• Use once daily, or as directed
• Rub in gently until absorbed

Duration of treatment:

• Athlete’s foot: 7 days
• Ringworm or jock itch: 7–14 days, depending on severity

Important usage advice:

• Complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve early
• Wash hands after application (unless treating the hands)
• Keep the affected area clean and dry

If symptoms do not improve within the recommended treatment period, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Do not use Lamisil AT Cream:

• If you are allergic to terbinafine or any of the ingredients

• Not recommended for children under 16 years of age

Possible side effects:

• Mild burning, itching or redness at the application site
• Dryness or irritation of the skin
• Allergic skin reactions are rare

Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or rash occurs.

When to seek medical advice:

• If the infection worsens or spreads
• If there is no improvement after the full course of treatment
• If you have diabetes, poor circulation or immune system problems
