Miclaro Oat Cream Pump - 500ml

Miclaro Oat Cream Pump (500ml) is a simple, fragrance-free emollient cream containing natural colloidal oatmeal (Avena sativa kernel flour 1% w/w), designed to support dry and sensitive skin and help maintain the skin’s protective barrier.

By forming a barrier on the surface of the skin, regular use helps to:

• Soften, moisturise and protect dry skin by trapping moisture and supporting the skin’s normal protective function
• Reduce dryness and help shield skin from irritants linked to everyday washing products

Common dry skin conditions where emollients are used include: eczema (dry itchy skin), contact dermatitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis, and pruritus (itchy, dry skin).

Suitable for all ages, including children over 3 months old.

Appearance: white cream, no dye or fragrance. 

For external use on the skin only. Apply regularly and as often as required for best results.

How to apply

1. Apply to the affected area using a few gentle strokes, smoothing in the same direction as hair growth.
2. Do not rub vigorously. Allow time for any excess to soak in if needed.
3. If you are also using another topical treatment on the same area, avoid mixing products by applying them alternately, leaving time between applications to absorb.

500ml pump use

• Follow the label directions to unlock the pump before first use.
• Press the dispenser several times to prime before product dispenses.
• After use and before transport, it’s advisable to lock the pump to prevent accidental discharge.

If you forget to use it: simply continue when you next need it. 

Ingredients: Avena sativa kernel flour (1%), Glycerol, Distearyldimonium chloride, Isopropyl palmitate, Cetyl alcohol, Liquid paraffin, White soft paraffin, Dimethicone, Microcrystalline wax, Benzyl alcohol, Allantoin, Dehydroacetic acid, Sodium chloride, Purified water. 

Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to colloidal oatmeal or any ingredient listed.

Fire safety warning (important):

Do not smoke or go near naked flames. This product contains liquid paraffin (<5%). Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings) that has been in contact with paraffin-containing emollients can burn more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Change and wash clothing/bedding/dressings frequently; washing may reduce build-up but may not remove it completely.

Possible side effects

• Rarely, irritant or allergic skin reactions can occur, usually during or soon after the first few uses. Stop use and seek advice if your skin looks/feels worse or if you develop a rash/hypersensitivity reaction.

If accidentally swallowed: oily ingredients may cause diarrhoea. Treat symptoms as you would for diarrhoea, drink plenty of water, and do not attempt to cause vomiting.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Pregnancy/breast-feeding: can be used during pregnancy and whilst breast-feeding; however, formal safety trials in pregnancy have not been conducted.

Storage: keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after expiry date. Store below 25°C.
