Product Overview
This is a generic product, therefore depending on availability, the brand you receive may not be the same as the one pictured.
Description
Naproxen 500mg Tablets (28 tablets) are a prescription-only non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Naproxen reduces inflammation and relieves pain, stiffness and swelling in conditions such as arthritis, muscle/joint/tendon pain, gout attacks and painful periods, when prescribed by a clinician.
Naproxen works by reducing prostaglandins (substances involved in pain and inflammation). As with all NSAIDs, it should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time advised to reduce the risk of side effects.
Pack size: 28 tablets (commonly supplied as 2 × 14).
How to Use
Always take exactly as directed on the dispensing label.
How to take
- Take with a glass of water with or after food.
- Take doses at evenly spaced times.
- Do not take with other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen/aspirin for pain) unless advised.
Typical adult dosing patterns (guide only, prescription may differ)
- Many adults are prescribed 500mg once or twice daily, depending on the condition being treated and individual risk factors.
If pain is not improving as expected, or symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
