Night Nurse Cold & Flu – 10 Capsules is a night-time pharmacy medicine formulated to provide comprehensive short-term relief from major cold and flu symptoms at bedtime. Its balanced triple-action formula helps address aches, fever, cough and nasal symptoms so you can sleep through the night more comfortably.

This product is designed for use just before bedtime. It works to relieve symptoms such as:

• Headache, chills and muscular aches
• Sore throat discomfort
• Fever or shivers
• Runny or blocked nose
• Dry, tickly cough

Taken at night, Night Nurse Capsules help reduce the irritation of symptoms that can otherwise disturb sleep, supporting more restful recovery while you rest.

Adults and children aged 16 years and over:

• Take 2 capsules just before bedtime, with water.

Important pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Do not take more than 2 capsules in 24 hours.
• Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a healthcare professional.
• Do not take these capsules if you have already taken 4 doses of paracetamol (or equivalent) from other products in the same day.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.

Not recommended for:

• Children under 16 years without medical advice.

Active Ingredients (per capsule):

• Paracetamol 500 mg – a widely used painkiller and fever reducer.
• Promethazine Hydrochloride 10 mg – an antihistamine that helps dry nasal secretions and provides a calming, sedative effect.
• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 7.5 mg – a cough suppressant helpful for dry, tickly coughs.

Other Excipients:

• Lactose, dimeticone, colloidal anhydrous silica, gelatin
• Colours: erythrosine (E127), patent blue V (E131), quinoline yellow (E104)
• Titanium dioxide (E171)

Capsules are designed for oral use only — swallow whole with water.

Who should not take this medicine

• Children under 16 years (without medical advice).
• People allergic to paracetamol, promethazine, dextromethorphan or any other listed ingredients.
• Do not take with any other products containing paracetamol.
• Do not take with other cold or flu remedies at night or alcohol.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical/pharmacist advice before use.

• May cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Alcohol may worsen side effects and should be avoided.
• Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using if you have liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, prostate problems, asthma or breathing difficulties, epilepsy, or are taking other medications.
• Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or certain antidepressants.

Possible side effects

• Blurred vision or difficulty concentrating

Excessive paracetamol intake can cause serious liver damage. Seek urgent medical advice in the event of overdose — even if you feel well.

• Store below 25 °C in original packaging.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
