NIVEA Sun Kids Protect & Care Roll-On SPF50+ 50 ml is a high-factor sunscreen formulated specifically for children’s delicate skin, offering immediate protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays to help prevent sunburn and long-term UV-induced skin damage. Its extra water-resistant formula supports active outdoor play and swimming, helping keep young skin healthy and protected during summer days.

Designed with a convenient roll-on applicator, this sunscreen is fast-absorbing and easy to apply without sticky hands, making it ideal for parents and kids alike. The improved formula includes panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and vitamins C & E to support the skin’s natural protective barrier and help maintain moisture balance.

The formula is paediatrician and dermatologist-tested for skin compatibility and respects the ocean environment by being free of certain UV filters (Octinoxate, Oxybenzone and Octocrylene) and microplastics. 

Shake well before use to ensure even dispersion of UV filters.

• Apply the sunscreen generously and evenly to all sun-exposed areas of the skin before outdoor activities.

• Re-apply frequently, especially after swimming, towel-drying, perspiring or prolonged outdoor play to maintain protection.

• Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using sunscreen; over-exposure to the sun is a serious health risk.

• Suitable for children aged 3 years and over. For younger children, seek professional guidance.

• Patch test on a small skin area before first use if your child has especially sensitive skin.

• External use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

• Aqua – skin-friendly solvent.

• Alcohol Denat. – solvent and quick-drying aid.

• C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Isopropyl Palmitate – emollients to soften and smooth the skin.

• Glycerin – humectant to help retain moisture.

• UV filters (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid) – broad-spectrum UV protection.

• Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) – support skin barrier and moisturisation.

• Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba Wax), Glyceryl Stearate, Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum – texture and spreadability agents.

• Phenoxyethanol, Trisodium EDTA, Parfum – preservative, stabiliser and fragrance components.

This combination helps deliver very high sun protection (SPF50+), moisture support and a gentle feel suitable for children’s delicate skin. 

Warnings & Precautions

• For external use only. Do not swallow.

• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; if product gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• Sun protection measures: Keep babies and very young children out of direct sunlight regardless of sunscreen use. Sunscreen is one element of sun safety – also use protective clothing, hats and seek shade.

• Apply generously; insufficient application reduces the level of protection.

• Reapply regularly, especially after swimming, towel-drying or heavy perspiration.

• Suitable for children aged 3 years and older. Seek clinical advice before use on younger children or those with known skin conditions.

• For children with eczema or very dry/sensitive skin, consider patch testing first.

• If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a clinician or pharmacist.

• Keep out of reach of children when not in use.

Possible Side Effects
