NovoPen® 6 Silver is a reusable, smart insulin delivery pen designed to provide accurate, flexible and user-friendly insulin injections for people with diabetes who require insulin therapy. Unlike basic pens, NovoPen® 6 Blue features dose memory which automatically records your insulin dose, the time and the date of injections — giving you and your healthcare provider insight into your insulin patterns to inform personalised diabetes care. Some versions of the pen can connect with compatible diabetes apps to help view and analyse insulin data alongside blood glucose readings.

1. Prepare the Pen

• Remove the cap and check that the insulin cartridge is correctly inserted.
• Use only Penfill® 3 ml cartridges of insulin prescribed by your clinician.
• Attach a new, sterile, single-use needle (sold separately).
