Odaban Antiperspirant Spray - 30ml

Odaban Antiperspirant Spray 30ml is a high-strength clinical antiperspirant designed to help manage excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). It is suitable for people whose sweating is persistent or not adequately controlled by standard antiperspirants.

Odaban works by temporarily blocking the sweat ducts, significantly reducing perspiration when used correctly. Unlike fragranced deodorants, Odaban is odourless and focuses on controlling sweat at the source rather than masking odour.

The spray format allows precise, targeted application and is commonly used in pharmacy practice for excessive sweating of the:

• Underarms
• Hands
• Feet
• Body areas such as the chest, back or scalp (with care)

With effective initial use, many users only require occasional maintenance applications.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist.

Initial treatment phase:

• Apply at night, before going to bed
• Ensure the skin is clean, completely dry and unbroken
• Spray a light, even layer onto the affected area
• Allow to dry naturally before dressing
• Leave on overnight

The following morning:

• Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water
• Do not reapply during the day

Maintenance use:

• Once sweating is controlled, reduce use to once or twice weekly, or as needed

Important usage advice:

• Do not apply to damp skin
• Do not use immediately after shaving (wait at least 24 hours)
• Use the lowest effective frequency
• For external use only

If excessive sweating does not improve, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Active ingredient:

• Aluminium Chloride Hexahydrate (antiperspirant active)

• Alcohol (vehicle)

Do not use Odaban Antiperspirant Spray:

• On broken, irritated or inflamed skin
• Immediately after shaving
• If you are allergic to aluminium chloride or any of the ingredients

Warnings & precautions:

• For external use only
• Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
• Skin irritation, itching or stinging may occur, particularly during early use
• If irritation develops, stop use temporarily and resume once the skin has recovered
• Reduce frequency if irritation persists

Possible side effects:

• Redness, itching or burning at the application site
• Skin irritation if applied too frequently or to damp skin

If severe irritation, rash or persistent discomfort occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
