Product Overview
Targeted toothache relief gel with 10% benzocaine to numb pain at the source. Suitable for adults and children aged 12+ for short-term use until dental care is available.
Description
Orajel Dental Gel 5.3 g is a topical oral pain-relief gel formulated to provide rapid relief from toothache pain, particularly in cases of broken teeth or where a dental filling is required. It contains benzocaine 10% w/w, a local anaesthetic that works by numbing nerve endings at the site of pain, giving fast, focused relief until you can see a dentist.
This clear, mint-flavoured gel is intended for short-term use and is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. It is particularly useful when dental care is not immediately available and toothache pain needs to be temporarily eased.
How to Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over only:
- For topical oral use only.
- Remove the cap and cut open the tip of the tube before first use.
- With a clean finger or cotton-bud, apply a small amount of gel (about the size of a green pea) directly to the affected tooth and surrounding gum area.
- You may apply the gel up to 4 times a day, as needed.
- Do not swallow. Avoid eating or drinking hot beverages immediately after application.
- Use only for short-term relief until you can see your dentist.
Do not use:
- In children under 12 years.
- If the tube or pack is damaged or expired.
If symptoms persist or worsen, stop use and consult your dentist, doctor or pharmacist.
