Product Overview
Waxed, shred-resistant dental floss designed to slide into tight interdental spaces and help remove plaque where brushing can’t reach.
Description
Oral-B® Essential Floss Waxed is a daily dental floss designed to clean between teeth and below the gumline where a toothbrush can miss, helping to remove plaque and trapped food debris as part of your regular oral hygiene routine.
Key features
- Light wax coating helps the floss slide more easily between tight contacts.
- Shred-resistant texture to support comfortable, controlled flossing.
- Helps maintain healthy gums and teeth when used morning and evening as part of routine oral care.
(Format commonly sold as a 50m roll.)
How to Use
- Break off around 45cm of floss and wind most around one middle finger, the rest around the other middle finger.
- Hold the floss tightly between thumbs and forefingers, leaving a few cm to work with.
- Gently guide between teeth using a sawing motion. Avoid snapping into the gums.
- Curve the floss into a C-shape around one tooth and slide gently under the gumline.
- Move the floss up and down to clean the side of the tooth, then repeat for the adjacent tooth surface.
- Use a clean section of floss for each tooth space, then discard.
If your gums bleed, this can happen when starting flossing or if gums are inflamed. If bleeding persists after regular gentle flossing, seek dental advice.
