Product Overview
Otrivine Adult Nasal Drops 10ml quickly relieve nasal congestion, helping you breathe more easily during colds and flu.
Description
Otrivine Adult Nasal Drops – 10ml are a fast-acting nasal decongestant designed to relieve blocked or stuffy noses associated with colds, flu, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.
The drops contain xylometazoline hydrochloride, which works directly on the nasal blood vessels to reduce swelling in the nasal lining. This action helps open the airways, providing rapid and long-lasting relief from congestion and making breathing easier.
The drop format is particularly suitable for people who prefer drops to sprays or who find drops easier to use when congestion is severe. Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.
How to Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- Apply 2–3 drops into each nostril, once or twice daily.
UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:
- Gently blow the nose before use.
- Tilt the head back slightly when applying the drops.
- Do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days, as prolonged use may cause rebound congestion.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
- Always read the enclosed Patient Information Leaflet before use.
