Peptac Peppermint Liquid - 500ml

Peptac Peppermint Liquid 500 ml is a fast-acting, peppermint-flavoured reflux suppressant and antacid liquid formulated to help relieve symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux, such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, indigestion, upset stomach and excess gas. Its sugar-free formula is designed for palatability, making it pleasant to take after meals or at bedtime.

Peptac belongs to a class of medicines known as reflux suppressants, which form a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help reduce irritation caused by stomach acid moving into the food pipe (oesophagus). This large 500 ml bottle is ideal for regular use and provides excellent value for everyday digestive care.

Directions:

• Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take 10–20 ml (two to four 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime.

• Children 6–12 years: Typically 5–10 ml (one to two 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, only if advised by a healthcare professional.

• Children under 6 years: Not recommended without medical advice.

Usage Notes:

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Leave 1–2 hours between taking Peptac and other oral medicines, as it can interfere with absorption.

• Use after meals or at bedtime to relieve discomfort quickly and support restful sleep.

• Sodium Alginate – forms a protective barrier over stomach contents to reduce acid contact.

• Sodium Bicarbonate – helps neutralise excess stomach acid.
