- Premenstrual tension (PMT)
- Endometriosis
- Your prescriber may also use norethisterone to delay a period.

How to Use
Always take exactly as directed on your dispensing label.
General guidance
- Dose depends on the condition being treated.
- If you forget a dose: take it when you remember, then continue as normal. Do not take a double dose.
Typical dosing shown in the patient leaflet (your prescriber may advise differently):
- Heavy bleeding and other period problems: 1 tablet 3 times daily (15mg/day) for 10 days.
- To help prevent problems returning, your doctor may advise 1 tablet twice daily for 8 days, starting 19 days after your last period began.
- Premenstrual tension (PMT): 1 tablet once daily for 10 days, starting 16 days after your last period began.
- Endometriosis: 1 tablet 3 times daily (15mg/day) for at least 6 months (dose may be increased if breakthrough bleeding occurs).
- To delay a period: 1 tablet 3 times daily (15mg/day). Start 3 days before your period is due. Your period usually starts within 3 days of stopping.
