Proshield Plus Skin Protectant – 115 g is a fragrance-free, dimethicone-based barrier cream designed to help protect and maintain skin integrity where skin is exposed to moisture, irritants or friction common in conditions such as incontinence-associated dermatitis, pressure ulcers, chafed, chapped or cracked skin, or clinically dry skin.

Its moisture-barrier formulation leaves a visible, transparent sheen that allows for monitoring of the skin underneath while providing a protective layer against exposure to urine, faeces, perspiration and friction. The gentle, hypoallergenic formula also moisturises and conditions skin that is prone to breakdown or irritation.

Cleanse and dry the skin thoroughly before application.

• Apply a thin layer of Proshield Plus Skin Protectant over the affected or at-risk area. Do not rub in vigorously; gently smooth the cream so a visible barrier remains on the skin surface.

• Reapply as needed throughout the day or after episodes of incontinence, bathing or washing to maintain the barrier.

• Suitable for daily use on both intact and injured skin where barrier protection is required.
