Product Overview
PULMOCLEAR Sterile Isotonic 0.9% Sodium Chloride solution (20 pre-measured 2.5 ml vials) is a sterile, preservative-free isotonic saline for respiratory tract humidification and airway comfort when used with a nebuliser. Gentle and suitable for all ages under clinician guidance.
Description
PULMOCLEAR Sterile Isotonic 0.9% Sodium Chloride 20 × 2.5 ml is a pharmaceutical-grade sterile saline inhalation solution used to help humidify and soothe the upper and lower respiratory passages. Each unit-dose vial contains 0.9% isotonic sodium chloride (NaCl), making it physiologically balanced and gentle on airway mucosa. It is preservative-free and sterilised via aseptic processing, reducing the risk of irritation and making it suitable for sensitive tissue.
When used with an electrically operated jet nebuliser or ultrasonic nebuliser, Pulmoclear helps restore moisture to dry respiratory passages, supports natural mucus clearance processes, and can contribute to overall comfort during cough, cold, allergy, or environmental irritant exposure.
This nebulised saline is commonly used as an adjunct in respiratory care to manage dryness and support easier breathing by helping to loosen mucus and maintain airway hydration.

How to Use
Intended for inhalation use only with a nebuliser.
• Prepare the nebuliser according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Open one single-dose vial by twisting off the top.
• Pour the 2.5 ml solution into the nebuliser reservoir.
• Use the nebuliser with a mouthpiece or mask as directed by your healthcare professional, breathing the mist deep into the lungs until the vial contents are used.
• Frequent use (up to four times daily) may be appropriate depending on clinical need and professional advice.
• Do not inject; this solution is not intended for intravenous or other parenteral use.
• Discard unused contents immediately after opening — each vial is sterile and intended for single use only.
• Compatible with most standard nebuliser devices, but always refer to your specific nebuliser user manual.
Ingredients
• Sodium chloride 0.9% (w/v) – isotonic saline equivalent to physiological fluids to help hydrate and soothe mucous membranes.
• Water for injections – sterile solvent base.
This minimal, preservative-free formula helps maintain respiratory moisture without added irritants and is used primarily for airway humidification, mucus loosening and supporting the natural airway clearance process.
Side Effects & Warnings
Warnings & Precautions
• For inhalation use only in a nebuliser; do not inject or swallow the solution.
• Single-use vials: do not store or reuse opened vials — discard any unused solution after use to preserve sterility.

• Do not use if you are allergic to sodium chloride or any component of the solution.
• Keep out of the reach of children; small ampoules may present a choking hazard.
• Not a substitute for prescribed medicated therapies — consult a clinician or pharmacist before use if you have underlying respiratory conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis) or are using prescribed inhaled medications.
• Use under professional guidance in infants or very young children to ensure appropriate nebuliser settings and technique.
Possible Side Effects
