QV Bath Oil – 250ml

QV Bath Oil – 250 ml is a gentle, pH-balanced emollient bath additive developed by QV / Ego Pharmaceuticals to help cleanse and moisturise dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin. The clear, non-greasy oil disperses easily in water, coating the skin with a fine protective layer that helps reduce moisture loss, relieve dryness and soothe irritation during bathing or showering.

Formulated without fragrance, colour, lanolin or propylene glycol, QV Bath Oil is suitable for infants, children, adults and the elderly, and is ideal for individuals with conditions such as eczema (atopic dermatitis), psoriasis, dermatitis, xerosis and ichthyosis. It can be used daily as part of a regular skincare routine to help maintain skin hydration and comfort, especially where soap and foaming cleansers may aggravate dry or sensitive skin.

Directions for Use

• For external use only.
• Bath:
• Add approximately 10 ml (two capfuls) to a warm bath for adults, or 5 ml to a baby or child’s bath. Soak for 5–10 minutes.
• Shower:
• Apply a small amount to wet skin, gently massage over the body, leave on briefly, then lightly rinse.
• After bathing or showering, pat the skin dry gently with a towel. Do not rub.
• Use daily or as often as required, particularly during flare-ups of dry skin.

For best results, avoid using soap or foaming cleansers on affected areas.

Active / Key Ingredients

• Paraffinum Liquidum (Light Liquid Paraffin) – emollient that helps form a protective barrier to reduce moisture loss
• Isopropyl Myristate – skin-softening emollient
• Laureth-3 – emulsifier to allow the oil to disperse evenly in water

Paraffin Fire Risk Warning

• This product contains paraffin, which can soak into clothing, bedding or dressings and increase the risk of fire.
• Keep away from naked flames, cigarettes and other heat sources.
• Change and wash clothing and bedding regularly to reduce build-up.

Pregnancy & Breast-feeding

• Suitable for use during pregnancy and breast-feeding when used as directed. If applied near the breast area, remove excess product before feeding.
