QV Intensive Ointment - 450g

QV Intensive Ointment 450g is a highly emollient intensive moisturising balm formulated to rehydrate very dry and sensitive skin by sealing in natural moisture and restoring skin comfort. Its non-greasy, low-irritant formula helps soothe dry, sore or cracked skin without fragrance, colour or lanolin, making it suitable for all ages, including infants, children, adults and the elderly. The water-free formulation means it won’t sting when applied to inflamed or cracked skin, and the protective barrier helps promote healing and reduce further moisture loss.

This intensive balm is ideal for use on chronically dry areas such as elbows, knees, hands and feet, and can be part of a complete emollient skincare routine alongside cleansers and lotions from the QV range.

Directions:

• Apply liberally to affected dry or sensitive skin areas on the face and body, using a gentle stroking action in the direction of hair growth.

• Use as often as required, particularly after bathing, showering or washing, and at night to help lock in moisture.

• Avoid rubbing vigorously — gentle application helps absorption.

Important Advice:

• External use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

• If irritation, rash, redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Avoid using ordinary soap on affected areas to minimise irritation.

QV Intensive Ointment contains a blend of emollients and barrier-forming agents designed to lock in moisture and protect skin, including:

• Light Liquid Paraffin (Paraffinum Liquidum) – occlusive emollient to reduce moisture loss.

• Petrolatum (Soft White Paraffin) – highly effective moisturising barrier.

• Isopropyl Myristate – emollient improving spreadability.

• Polyethylene – stabiliser.

• Cetearyl Alcohol – skin-conditioner and thickener.

• Silica – texture enhancer.

• Dimethicone – silicone-based barrier-forming agent.

Free From: fragrance, colour and lanolin — formulated to minimise irritation and be suitable for sensitive skin.

• Fire hazard warning: Products containing paraffin can make clothing, bedding and dressings more flammable. Regularly change clothing and bedding that may have ointment residue, and keep away from open flames/naked flames.
